And today I’m showing you the recent Catrice Hollyglazing collection. Its main feature is the packaging: each product comes with a special ring for attaching a keychain. The keychain itself is sold separately so you can clip on your favorite items. I picked two products that seemed the most interesting to me — the eyeshadow and the lip gloss. They’re pretty, but not exactly flawless.

I’ll say it straight away — the collection isn’t the most successful. The products look beautiful, but the packaging feels flimsy. For example, the lid of these eyeshadows is almost falling off already. Cheap plastic, 1.7 g of product.
The shades look good at first glance — a pink-lilac and a deep plum. Both are shimmery and consist of fine glitter. Even in the swatch you can see they apply unevenly and sink into creases.
They seem to apply smoothly at first, but once you look closer — gaps appear. Even over primer they immediately settle into lines and don’t smooth out. They look nice only from a distance in the mirror =)

Catrice Hollyglazing Lip Colour C02 Under the Mistle-tint
Again, the same flimsy packaging — it looks cheap, and the product info sticker is already peeling off on both sides =( The volume is only 2.7 ml, the applicator is tiny and picks up very little product, so you need to dip it at least twice for a normal application.
The gloss has a light candy scent, and looks gorgeous in the swatch — a deep violet with fine shimmer.
But in reality the texture feels like an oil and settles strongly into lip lines. It feels comfortable: non-sticky, lightweight. However, after about 30 minutes the color almost disappears. After 2 hours there’s no trace of it left.
