I usually switch to micellar waters in the fall when I want a break from oils and the SPF residues they remove. This time, I picked up the largest version of Garnier’s pink micellar water and I’m very happy with it.
I have the 700 ml bottle — enough to forget about makeup removal for a couple of months. The packaging is pleasant: pink recycled plastic with a flip-top lid and a cute rose illustration on the bottle.
The water itself is clear with a subtle rose scent — gentle and not overpowering. It effectively removes makeup from lips, eyes, and face without leaving residues. I did notice that if mascara is heavy or voluminous, it can struggle a bit, and using reusable cotton pads sometimes makes it slightly foamy.
Other than that, it’s a solid product — it doesn’t sting eyes or lips, leaves no bitter aftertaste, cleans well, and doesn’t cause breakouts.
