Scalp peels have been a part of my hair routine for several years. I’ve tried almost everything—from acid-based to salt scrubs, and even enzyme powders. My latest favorite (and already finished) is the TRESemmé Purify & Hydrate scalp peel.
The 300 ml jar lasted me over six months using it once a week. The texture is a viscous bluish gel with plenty of exfoliating particles—likely polyethylene mixed with coconut. It also contains clay and menthol, which gives a refreshing, cooling sensation during massage.
The peel smells pleasant and is economical—two scoops cover the entire scalp: first from the ears to the crown, then from the forehead to the nape. It slightly foams, doesn’t scratch the scalp, and rinses out quickly without leaving hair feeling dry.
I use it as the first step in my hair care routine, followed by a regular shampoo. This combination leaves the scalp clean, refreshed, and free from product buildup. Definitely a highly effective scalp peel, and I would happily repurchase it!
