I love lip balms, especially natural ones, and use them every night and sometimes before applying lip makeup. Recently, I tried a new brand, John Masters Organics, and chose their Lip Calm in Vanilla.
The brand is American and focuses on natural body and hair care. The packaging is minimalistic: a simple white plastic tube, 4 g, with all ingredients labeled as natural. The USDA Organic logo is also displayed.
The balm has a twist-up mechanism with a snap-on cap. The stick is flat, creamy light yellow, and surprisingly smells more like pine than vanilla.
It applies effortlessly, melts on the lips, and instantly coats them with nourishing care. It absorbs quickly without stickiness. Applied before makeup, it fully absorbs in 10–15 minutes, and at night a thicker layer leaves lips soft and smooth by morning. My lips feel great, and the balm is economical — definitely a thumbs up!
