Recently, I stopped by a popular cosmetics store and discovered a real treasure — a freshly updated Catrice stand, with consultants setting up new testers right in front of me. Naturally, I couldn’t resist the moment: I swatched both of my hands and, of course, didn’t leave empty-handed. I picked up a balm highlighter, a duo eyeshadow, a stick shadow, and a menthol plumping lip gloss. Let me walk you through them — and a little warning: there will be a lot of photos!
I’ll start with the least favorite product and finish with my absolute must-have.
Catrice Aura Glam Balm Highlighter 010 A swirl of rose
Of course, the magpie in me couldn’t pass up a highlighter. I was drawn to its unusual marbled pattern — it really is beautiful. It weighs 4.5 g, made in China, with a transparent snap-closure case. Free from silicones and added fragrance — though it does have a faint scent.
The texture is balm-like: stunning on swatches and freshly applied, but less impressive in wear (which I expected). It mixes pale pink, bright pink, and warm brown, yet once blended, it gives a soft pink glow with lots of fine shimmer. The base is clear, so there’s no gray cast. It blends easily with fingers.
On the downside, it feels a bit greasy and sticky, and it breaks through foundation since it doesn’t set. Comfort is decent, but after about 4 hours only scattered sparkles remain. A fun product to play with, but not one for long wear.

Catrice Diamond Treasures Cream to Powder Eyeshadow 010 Hazel Spark
There are three duos in the collection. Mine is the versatile one — a matte pink-taupe paired with a shimmer. Another duo combines black with silver sparkle. Made in China, 2.8 g, sturdy lid.
This tiny palette fits in the palm of your hand — perfect for travel makeup bags — and it might just become my favorite.
The matte is a cream-to-powder taupe, while the shimmer is a flake-like topper with holographic sparkles. The matte feels creamy when picked up, blends beautifully, and sets to a powder finish. It’s easy to work with — no patchiness, no bald spots — and lasts all day, especially with a base.
The shimmer applies best with a finger. Even one layer looks impressive. Over a primer, it lasts all day; without, it holds for 6–8 hours before creasing. It doesn’t flake.

Catrice Drunk’n Diamonds Eyeshadow Stick 010 Lavender Jelly Haze
Catrice jumped on the trend with springy shadow sticks, similar to Sheglam. Three shades are available — I chose the softest lavender. Made in Italy, 2.5 g, with a cap to prevent drying.
The stick really does bounce if fully twisted out — fun but pointless in practice. The shade itself is a transparent base packed with sparkling particles, giving a shimmering lavender finish. On application, it feels cooling.
These shadows glide on easily, blend in seconds, and then set just as quickly. They don’t budge, crease, or smudge even without primer — perfect for oily lids or hooded eyes. On the lids they look stunning solo or layered, sparkling with blue and pink flecks in the sunlight. Love at first swipe!

Catrice Plump it Up Lip Booster 100 Work it, Twerk it
And finally, my absolute favorite — I’m genuinely in love with this menthol lip plumper. The line includes unique shades (like a black one), plenty of colors to choose from, and pearly non-plumping versions too. Mine is shade 100, made in Luxembourg, 3.5 ml.
The packaging feels high-end, with a huge doe-foot applicator that scoops up just the right amount. It smells like mint gum and delivers a pleasant cooling effect that lasts about 10 minutes.
Shade 100 is a coffee-brown packed with shimmering particles that shift from gold to red. The texture feels more like an oil than a gloss — smooth, lightweight, and ultra-shiny. One dip is enough for both lips. It doesn’t sink into lines, doesn’t feather, isn’t sticky, and fades evenly without leaving glitter behind. Absolutely a gem!
