Recently, Essence has released several hyped-up new products that completely took over social media. I managed to grab three of them, and I’m ready to share my impressions without delay.
Essence Nuts About You All-over Highlighter 01 Sugar Plum Fairy's Dust
Let me say this right away — everyone needs this! It’s an amazing highlighter, very close in effect to the famous Fenty one. This is a limited holiday collection inspired by the Nutcracker. The packaging is cute, simple, yet sturdy. Inside you get 4 g of talc-free product, made in China.
Opening the clear lid reveals pure beauty — like frozen snowflakes captured inside the pan. The highlighter has no tinted base; it’s transparent with shimmering white and silver particles.
Its texture feels slightly silicone-like yet dry at the same time, and it layers easily — though the more you build it up, the more prominent the white hue becomes.
I fell in love with this highlighter from the very first swipe. It’s easy to apply, almost doesn’t crumble, and shines beautifully both in sunlight and evening lighting. It’s one of those highlighters that looks stunning no matter where you apply it — on the eyes, cheekbones, anywhere.

Essence Juicy Bomb Shiny Lipgloss 01 Cooling Cola
This product is part of a collaboration with Pepsi, and I simply couldn’t resist — especially since I already know and love this gloss range. Made in China, 10 ml, and it even comes with a cute branded keychain.
The applicator isn’t the most convenient — it’s hard to get a precise outline, so I recommend using a lip pencil, brush, or even a cotton swab and your fingertip.
The gloss smells exactly like cola — delicious, natural, not overpowering. The scent and taste stay on the lips for about 30 minutes. During the first few minutes, there’s a cooling effect — the formula includes mint and cinnamon oil. The gloss is translucent brown, cola-colored, packed with purple and gold shimmer that gives a plumping effect.
A thin layer looks subtle — just a hint of sparkle.
A thicker layer is wow — super glossy, juicy, and much more cola-toned.
It’s comfortable, non-sticky, doesn’t settle into lines, hydrates, and removes easily with a tissue.
P.S. Ilona Mac_Cecht — you will definitely love this!

Essence The Rare Bears Blind Box Lipgloss
A budget-friendly version of Labubu, anyone? Essence released blind-box bears with keychains — you never know which bear you’ll get until you open it. There are super rare secret bears (only 1000 pieces total!), but I haven’t seen anyone pull one yet. The regular lineup includes four bears: teal-green (mine), pink, lilac, and berry-red.
The box is nicely made, and the bear comes sealed in foil — no peeking in advance.
The bear is not just a cute keychain made of soft-touch plastic — it’s also a lip gloss container. Each bear contains the same gloss inside: 1.38 ml of clear, vanilla-scented shine. The gloss is basic but pleasant — non-sticky, hydrating, comfortable.
The little paw-shaped applicator is adorable but way too tiny.
An incredibly cute collectible — people are buying boxes like crazy. I’ve literally seen adult women carrying stacks of them. A friend in Belgium says they’re already completely sold out there.
Rating: 4.5/5 (minus half a point for the tiny applicator; as a marketing concept — 100/100)
