I absolutely love Korean skincare — in my case, it almost always works perfectly, so choosing new products feels easy and even exciting. Of course, there are countless brands to navigate, but I genuinely enjoy trying new launches. I was already familiar with SKIN1004 thanks to their serums, and since they impressed me so much, I decided to try another one — the Hyalu-Cica Blue Serum in its beautiful blue bottle.
As far as I understand, there are two versions of this serum: a lighter, more liquid one in a transparent 50 ml bottle, and a thicker version like mine, which comes in a 30 ml opaque bottle. Both have that fresh blue aesthetic that instantly gives hydration vibes.
The serum itself is slightly cloudy and completely fragrance-free. The texture is quite thick and a bit stretchy, which makes using the dropper a little tricky — it doesn’t pick up the product easily. Toward the end, it became even less convenient, and I had to literally shake the bottle to get the last bits out.
That said, the formula itself is really good. Despite its плотная текстура, it feels lightweight on the skin: it absorbs quickly, leaves no stickiness, and doesn’t weigh down the routine at all.
I like using it in the morning to “wake up” my skin, and it does that job perfectly. My skin instantly feels more hydrated, fresh, and plump.
After about a month and a half of use, I didn’t experience any breakouts — my skin felt comfortable and looked healthy. So performance-wise, the serum definitely met my expectations.
