Have you ever tried a lip liner with hyaluronic acid? That was a first for me — and it turned out to be a very приятный опыт with the Kosas Hotliner Hyaluronic Acid Contouring Lip Liner. The brand itself was new to me, but definitely intriguing, especially since it’s made in the USA.
The liner comes in a simple cardboard box, while the pencil itself is пластиковый with cute marbled details on the cap. It contains 0.5 g of product. On one side you get a classic retractable tip, and on the other — a flat brush that’s actually quite useful for blending.
My shade is Epic — a warm nude that looks very natural and универсально. The texture is soft and slightly gel-like, which means you have a bit of time to blend it before it fully sets. Once it does, it stays put incredibly well. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid in the formula, it doesn’t dry out the lips at all — quite the opposite, it feels very comfortable throughout the day.
The liner applies smoothly, doesn’t bleed, and only slightly settles into lip lines if you use it all over as a lipstick (though the consumption will be higher, of course). The brush is soft and makes blending quick and effortless.
As for longevity — it’s impressive. It easily lasts all day, keeps the contour intact even after eating (yes, even pizza 😄), and doesn’t break down under lip oils. One of the most comfortable and long-lasting lip liners I’ve tried so far!
