While the weather hasn’t turned fully cold yet, lip glosses are still very much in my rotation. Lately I’ve been wearing them more often, mainly because modern formulas are no longer sticky — and stickiness was exactly why I used to avoid glosses. Today I want to talk about a lovely option: Essence Juicy Bomb Lip Gloss in shade 04 Crazy Cherry.
The brand Balea has a really solid range of affordable body and face care, and I’ve been slowly testing their face masks — both sheet and rinse-off versions.
Physician’s Formula has a successful makeup line based on natural oils. I’ve owned the bronzer from this series for a long time, and now the Murumuru Butter Blush in the shade Vintage Rouge has joined it.
I finally tried the famous Heimish All Clean Balm, and I have to say — I’m impressed. My skin generally loves Korean skincare, so I had high expectations, and thankfully, this balm didn’t disappoint.
The Catrice 5 in a Box Mini Eyeshadow Palette 080 Diamond Lavender Look is super compact — it easily fits into any makeup bag, and with just 4 g of product, it’s clearly designed for convenience. The plastic packaging feels sturdy and even looks almost like glass, while the lid closes with a satisfying click. A nice touch: the formula is infused with rose oil, as stated on the front.
K-beauty is slowly taking over my entire home — and now it’s not just skincare, but body care too. My latest find is a hand cream with a white musk scent, and surprisingly, it became one of my favorites (even though I’m usually not a fan of this note in perfumes).
When you have long hair, conditioners disappear fast, so I’m always testing new ones. This time I decided to go back to a brand I used to love — John Frieda — and picked the restoring conditioner John Frieda FRIZZ Ease Wunder-Reparatur Conditioner.
I can’t help but reach for this beauty — Makeup by Mario Eyeshadow Quad in Bronzey — every single day lately.
I really enjoy products from the Polish brand Tołpa — they combine minimalism with effective formulas. Today I want to talk about two creams that worked really well for me, even though they each have a small downside.
I received this mini Tarte palette — and immediately fell in love. It’s tiny, elegant, and perfectly enhances the green in my eyes.
The last time I used face masks from Yves Rocher was several years ago — I especially loved their once very popular hydrating mask. A lot has changed since then, and the brand has clearly evolved. This time, my attention was caught by the Bio Calendula Repairing Face Mask with a rich texture.
Like many people, I’ve always loved shower gels and fabric softeners from Tesori d'Oriente, but their range goes far beyond that — they also have bath products and even perfumes. When I discovered the fragrance Tesori d'Oriente Ikigai Eau de Cologne, I instantly fell in love. And at around €5 on a super sale, it was an easy purchase.
I rarely use black eye pencils, preferring brown ones, but black is a classic and definitely deserves a spot in any makeup bag. Since this beauty — Bobbi Brown 24 Hour Kajal Liner Waterproof — appeared in my collection, my hand reaches for it more and more often, especially for tightlining and defining the lower lash line.
I don’t really use styling products that often because I just don’t enjoy doing my hair, but sometimes I want curls or I simply need a more put-together look for an occasion. In those moments I reach for a few trusted products, and one of them is Taft Volume Mousse for fine hair.
Multi-purpose products are a rare guest in my makeup bag. I prefer clear roles: blush is for cheeks, lipstick is strictly for lips. When one product tries to do everything at once, the final quality often suffers. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how my experience with the Zoeva Pout Perfect Lip & Cheek Pencil turned out.
Korean peel-off sleeping masks have become such a huge trend lately that I also couldn’t resist and eventually picked up the most talked-about one — Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask. It’s basically everywhere on social media right now, so I was genuinely curious to see if it lives up to all the hype.
I apply body care after every shower — my skin is quite dry and constantly needs nourishment or hydration. That’s why body lotions are a staple in my routine, and lately I’ve been especially drawn to fragrance-free formulas in larger sizes. One of my recent finds is the Mixa Ceramide Protect Body Lotion.
Lately, lip pencils have been at the peak of popularity — you can apply them all over the lips or use them just to define the contour. And the whole lip combo trend (lip liner + lipstick or gloss) has completely taken over. So I’m joining in and showing you my absolute favorite lip pencil at the moment — Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil in shade 600 Anywhere Caffeine, a truly universal shade.
I have the 7.5 ml mini, which fully replicates the design of the 50 ml full-size bottle. Since it’s an eau de parfum, the longevity is quite impressive.
Summer is over and the rainy season has arrived, but neither humidity nor sunshine will be a problem if you use one of Maybelline’s relatively recent launches — Maybelline Build-A-Brow. I chose the marker in shade 255 Soft Brown.
