Spicules started trending everywhere on social media closer to fall 2024 — and like many, I got intrigued. After reading countless posts and reviews, I decided to try them myself. Since I’ve always had quite visible Venus rings on my neck, by age 34 I thought it was time to take action. That’s how I discovered Medipeel Peptide Naite 1000 Shot Neck Stick.
The brand is well-known, and I couldn’t resist the hype. The stick comes in a cardboard box; the product itself is housed in a sleek plastic tube with a twist-up mechanism and a click-on cap. You get 20 g of product.
Its main active ingredients are peptides, while spicules act as carriers, helping them penetrate deeper into the skin.
The stick is flat, compact, and travel-friendly — perfect for on-the-go use.
It has a light masculine scent, reminiscent of men’s deodorant, which lingers for about 20 minutes after application. The texture melts on contact with the skin, slightly oily and sticky at first, but this feeling fades within 5 minutes. If you don’t massage it in, absorption may take longer (even hours), but thankfully it doesn’t stain clothes.
I apply it morning and evening to clean skin and massage lightly afterward to help it absorb better. There’s no tingling or irritation — it feels very comfortable. After two months of use, the stick is almost finished, so it’s not the most economical product considering the price.
However, the results speak for themselves — my Venus rings have become noticeably less pronounced. Of course, I can’t erase them completely since they’re more anatomical than age-related, but there’s definitely visible improvement and good prevention of further deepening.
