⭐ Syoss Brow Permanent Tint — Easy to Use, but Zero Lasting Power

I used to tint my brows from time to time, then stopped for a while, and recently decided to bring the habit back. I chose the Syoss Brow Permanent Tint in the dark brown shade.

The product promises up to 40 days of color, and the intensity depends on how long you leave it on — the longer the processing time, the darker the result.

Inside the kit you get dye and developer for about 10 uses (in reality, even more). The dye comes in a metal tube, while the developer is a thick liquid packaged in an extremely stiff plastic bottle, which makes it quite difficult to squeeze out the drops. The set also includes a dual-ended brush/spoolie with a flat stick on the other end (similar to an orange stick), a plastic tray for mixing the product, and an instruction leaflet.

Application is simple: measure 10 drops of developer, mix with 1 g of dye, and apply to the brows. The ratio is perfect, though you can adjust it — I, for example, only need 3–4 drops. The product has no scent, the texture is creamy and thick, and it coats the brow hairs very well. I tested both 2-minute and 5-minute processing times, and the result was nearly identical — a dark brown shade. The dye rinses off easily with a cotton pad, doesn’t irritate the skin, and doesn’t stain it.

But on me, the longevity is almost nonexistent — within a couple of days, there is absolutely no trace of tint left. I degreased the hairs, tried leaving it on for up to 10 minutes — nothing helped. Perhaps the formula simply doesn't work with my hair type. A pity, really.
