Right now, I’m using the famous Semi di Lino Cristalli Liquidi THE Original from Alfaparf Milano — the brand’s cult “liquid crystals” for shiny, silky hair. But are they truly perfect? Let’s talk pros and cons 👇

The product comes in various sizes — from 15 ml to 50 ml. I have the smallest one since hair oils usually last forever anyway.

It comes in a box, with a heavy glass bottle and an equally heavy metallic cap that sometimes takes real effort to remove. The pump dispenser works smoothly — one press releases enough product for my entire length (my hair is fine but reaches my waist).

The oil itself is semi-fluid and golden-yellow, with a warm spicy scent that leans slightly masculine. The fragrance lasts until the next wash, which I personally love.

I apply one pump after every wash on towel-dried hair, from the mid-lengths to the ends. Be careful not to overdo it — the oil feels a bit greasy at first, but then it fully absorbs and leaves hair glossy and soft. Once, I accidentally used too much and ended up with oily pillowcases the next morning 😅

When used correctly, the product gives hair a healthy shine, tames dryness, and makes it smooth, silky, and more manageable. Regular use helps reduce frizz and gives fine hair a bit of pleasant weight.
