Skin1004 Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum — Worth the Hype? ☀️

The Skin1004 Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum might be one of the most hyped sunscreens in recent years. It constantly appears in Top 3 Korean SPF lists and is loved by countless beauty bloggers. Naturally, I had to try it — and it didn’t disappoint.

The brand calls it a sun protection serum, enriched with centella asiatica and hyaluronic acid. The product comes in a 50 ml soft, opaque plastic tube with a very convenient pump dispenser — you can easily control how much you use, from a tiny drop to a generous portion.

The texture is ultra-light, more like a water-based lotion than a classic sunscreen. It’s completely fragrance-free, doesn’t leave a white cast, absorbs quickly, and feels weightless on the skin — no stickiness or greasiness at all.

It applies beautifully, doesn’t sting the eyes, and makes an amazing base for makeup — your BB cream, concealer, or powder will glide on smoothly. The protection is excellent: even under 35°C heat, my skin didn’t burn or turn red. I first used it last summer during a heatwave, and it performed flawlessly.

One note of caution — make sure to remove it thoroughly. Once, I didn’t cleanse properly and got minor breakouts, but after switching to double cleansing with oil balm, no more issues occurred.

Overall, this SPF truly deserves the hype — it’s lightweight, hydrating, protective, and makeup-friendly. I’m adding it to my personal Top Sunscreens list (though Frudia still holds the #1 spot 😉).
