Essence Multitask Concealer: lightweight coverage for a fresh look

I don’t have major skin concerns that require heavy concealer coverage, so I always choose light to medium formulas over full coverage. Essence Multitask Concealer was recommended by a beauty blogger, and I decided to try it during one of my online orders. I picked shade 10 Peachy Ivory.

The packaging is extremely minimalistic and budget-friendly: a purple-transparent pen-style tube with only 3 ml of product inside. The only seal is a small sticker. The concealer comes with a flexible brush applicator and a twist mechanism, which works perfectly — something I truly appreciate, as similar products often fail to dispense product properly.

The texture is pleasantly lightweight — creamy, but not overly pigmented. It spreads easily over the skin, doesn’t sink into fine lines, and doesn’t emphasize dryness. If I could rename it, I’d definitely add “hydrating” to the name, because it feels comfortable and slightly moisturizing on the skin.

It blends effortlessly, although I wouldn’t recommend using the built-in brush for blending. A sponge or fingers work much better. This concealer won’t cover severe dark circles or large blemishes, but it does a great job of brightening the under-eye area and concealing minor imperfections.

The longevity is very good, especially when set with powder — which I always do. Without powder, the wear time might be shorter, but for my routine it works perfectly. Overall, I’m happy with everything about this concealer except the small volume — though at this price point, it’s easy to repurchase more often.
