I usually reach for micellar water when my makeup doesn’t involve gel pencils or heavy foundations. Avon Nutraeffects Soothing Micellar Water with Centella Asiatica for sensitive skin performed fairly well, though it’s not perfect.
The packaging is simple — a clear 200 ml bottle with a screw cap. It would be more convenient with a pump. The water is slightly foamy, colorless, odorless, and tasteless. It removes makeup easily, but on the eyes, especially mascara, it needs a bit more time, which can sting very sensitive eyes.
After use, it leaves no bitterness or irritation and didn’t cause any breakouts for me. I always follow up with a cleansing foam or gel, so I’m not worried about leftover makeup. My main drawback with this micellar water is that it’s not very economical — it runs out quickly, but at a budget-friendly price, it’s not a dealbreaker.
