💦 Mascara Misfire: Nobea 3D Festive Waterproof

I rarely reach for waterproof mascaras — maybe twice a year when it’s pouring or snowing. But when the Nobea 3D Festive Mascara showed up in one of my beauty boxes, I decided to give it a go, especially with the summer heat melting everything off my lashes. Spoiler: it was a total miss 😅

The packaging is simple — a black 8 ml tube with a curved plastic wand. The formula is creamy, true black, and unscented. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

The brush is poky — one wrong move and you’ll stab your eye. The mascara coats lashes in black pigment but gives zero 3D effect. No volume, just slight lengthening. And while it dries, it manages to print itself everywhere: lids, under-eyes, cotton swabs — you name it.

The worst part? It’s neither truly waterproof nor easy to remove. In 35°C heat, it melted and smudged all over my lids, yet when I tried to wash it off with cleansing oil, it clung on for dear life. Apparently, sweat removes it better than skincare 😬

Definitely not a keeper — hard pass from me.
