I love ultra-thin brow pencils that allow me to draw hair-like strokes and create a natural, effortless look. When my previous favorite ran out, I decided to try the MAYBELLINE Brow Ultra Slim in the shade Taupe — and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
The pencil is super fine — the tip is as thin as a needle’s eye, which makes it perfect for precise definition. The texture is semi-hard, just the way I like it: not too soft to smudge, but not too firm to scratch the skin.
The Taupe shade is ideal for me — a natural brown with a cool undertone that blends seamlessly with my brow hairs. I use it for the hair-stroke technique, drawing missing hairs and filling in sparse areas. The result is neat, full-looking brows that still appear natural.
The staying power is impressive — it’s resistant to smudging and humidity, and when fixed with brow gel, it lasts all day without fading. Despite being long-lasting, it removes easily with any makeup remover.
The only downside is how quickly it runs out — there’s less than a gram of product, so you’ll find yourself repurchasing it often. But for results this good, it’s worth it!
