Catrice Spring and the City Collection — Shape & Shade Lip Pencil & Eye & Cheek Glow Complex

I skipped the previous pistachio-themed limited collection from Catrice, but the new spring launch immediately caught my attention. Even from the promo images, I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist. As soon as I saw the display in store, I picked up both the lip pencil and the face palette without hesitation.

The Shape & Shade Lip Pencil C02 City Lines was the first thing I grabbed — its format instantly reminded me of Rhode. The design is bright orange, the product weighs 0.9 g, and it features a dual-ended format: a pencil on one side and a soft silicone blending tip on the other. It’s flexible and quite удобный in use.

I chose shade 02 — a cool-toned rosy-plum. Shade 01 was darker and didn’t appeal to me. The pencil has a noticeable scent at first, but it fades quickly. The texture is very soft and приятная, blending easily with both fingers and the silicone tip.

On the lips, it performs well. When applied all over, it may slightly emphasize dryness and feel a bit tight, but considering it’s a lip liner and not a lipstick, that’s acceptable. The longevity is excellent — it doesn’t transfer to cups, holds the contour even under lip oils, and doesn’t bleed. It removes easily with micellar water.

The Eye & Cheek Glow Complex C01 Rosé & Rooftops comes in a beautiful, sturdy compact with a tweed-style lid in pink and orange tones. Inside, there’s a mirror and two equal compartments.

The highlighter is creamy, light, with a pearly pink sheen. However, it didn’t impress me much — it looks pretty right after application, but after a couple of hours, mostly glitter particles remain. It doesn’t fully set, although it doesn’t feel greasy. It’s best applied with fingers. On the eyes, unfortunately, it creases quickly and looks messy.

The blush, on the other hand, is a real gem. The shade is a vibrant raspberry that instantly refreshes the face. The texture sits between cream and powder — very easy to apply and blend. It doesn’t disturb foundation, allows buildable intensity, and doesn’t leave a greasy finish. It sets well and lasts all day without losing much color.

Overall, the palette feels a bit mixed: the highlighter is underwhelming, but the blush is so good that I keep reaching for it again and again.
