✏️ Soft Elegance: Yves Rocher Khol Pencil Review

The Yves Rocher Khol Pencil landed in my hands as a gift during the brand’s winter sale — and honestly, I might have chosen better than I thought 😌

This is a classic wooden kajal pencil, weighing 1.3 g and requiring sharpening (sold separately, of course). I was surprised to see that it’s made in the Czech Republic, despite being a French brand. The design is simple — the pencil’s barrel matches the shade, a deep chocolate brown, and it comes nicely pre-sharpened for instant use.

As a true kajal, it’s meant for the waterline — and it performs beautifully there. The texture is creamy and flexible, allowing you to smudge or layer before it sets. I love using it along the lower lash line to subtly define my eyes; it glides effortlessly and gives a soft, elegant finish.

It wears well throughout the day, especially if set with a matching eyeshadow. On the waterline, it lasts a few hours before fading slightly at the outer corners — pretty standard for a kajal. It’s not ideal for precise upper-lid liner, but that’s not what it’s made for.

A lovely, comfortable pencil in a universal warm brown that enhances your gaze without harshness. Perfect everyday pick!
