At the beginning of 2025, Tom Ford released a limited edition collection called Rose Exposed, which included a perfume, an eyeshadow palette, a lip oil, and a lipstick. I managed to get the lipstick in the shade West Coast, and I’m so excited to finally share it — it truly deserves attention.
The American brand Simple is known for its minimalistic formulas, clean design, and affordable prices. I recently tried two of their products and have mixed feelings to share.
When Essence releases a new themed collection, I can’t resist — especially when it’s inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Not everything from the line reached our stores, but I still managed to grab almost all of my must-haves (except for the fluffy makeup bag 😅). Let’s take a closer look!
For my daily routine, I always need hydration and nourishment for the delicate skin around my eyes. That’s why I’ve been using the HADA LABO Tokyo Smoothing Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream Day and Night with Super Hyaluronic Acid, a Japanese cream suitable for both day and night use.
Polish haircare and I have a complicated relationship — sometimes it’s a total hit, sometimes… not so much. The So!flow Smoothing duo was exactly that emotional rollercoaster. Let’s talk about it.
The shampoo comes in a pleasant green plastic bottle with silver accents and a flip-top cap. There’s no seal, which surprised me, but the label includes an English translation. It’s actually the second step in the brand’s haircare routine (right after a scalp scrub).
The formula promises adaptogens, vegan ingredients, and notes of peach and coconut — though mine smells more like crisp green apple 🍏. The texture is a light gel that foams well and cleans gently. For the first couple of weeks, it worked perfectly: no dryness, no irritation. Then suddenly, it stopped cleansing properly and left my hair stiff. I took a break, came back to it… and it behaved again.
My conclusion? Hair gets used to it, so alternating with other shampoos works best. Used this way, it leaves my hair soft, clean, and airy.
To complement the shampoo, I picked up the So!flow Smoothing Conditioner. I’ve been focusing on hydration lately, and this one looked promising. It comes in the same green 400 ml bottle — perfect for long hair like mine.
The conditioner contains adaptogens, wheat proteins, and jojoba oil — all great for post-keratin-treated hair (or just dry, frizzy strands). It has a creamy white texture and a lovely coconut scent 🌴.
It spreads easily, doesn’t drip, and instantly makes hair feel smoother even before rinsing. It doesn’t foam or leave residue, and once rinsed out, the hair feels silky and nourished. After drying, it’s soft, shiny, and manageable. The only downside? It doesn’t fight static very well — I still need a leave-in spray for that.
✨ Final thoughts:
The So!flow Smoothing line is gentle, smells great, and makes hair look healthy — just don’t overuse the shampoo. Overall, a nice affordable duo for soft, shiny hair.
Every year, Hourglass treats us to a new limited-edition face palette in their signature luxurious packaging. Until recently, I never really thought about buying one — but after watching a few videos, I gave in. And now the lightest version of this year’s collection, the one with the deer design, is finally mine! I didn’t bother swapping the pans (you can technically mix and match with the fox or swan versions) — I loved both the outer design and the color story inside.
From the Eveline Face Cleansing Foam Vit C Energy line, I decided to go all in and picked up two cleansers at once — the gel for my evening routine and the foam for the morning. My plan? To give my skin a full-on vitamin boost! 🍊
In my last Catrice review, I mentioned I was waiting for their Era of Senses limited edition — it was supposed to launch at the end of September, but it arrived two weeks late! I was already worried I’d miss it, but luck was on my side — our stores finally received a few products from the collection (not the full range, unfortunately). I picked up two items that intrigued me the most — and once again, I’m impressed!
My mornings always start the same way — by brushing my hair. And to make that process smoother, I rely on a leave-in spray every single day. I like to switch things up between oil-based formulas and more lightweight treatments. Today’s spotlight is on the L’Oréal Paris Elseve Extraordinary Oil 10-in-1 Miracle Treatment (silicone-free version).
Scalp exfoliators have been a staple in my routine for several years now. I’ve tried everything from acid-based scrubs to salt and even enzymatic powders. My latest find — and now completely used-up favorite — is the TRESemmé Purify & Hydrate Scalp Scrub.
For the longest time, I skipped eyeshadow primers and just used concealer as a base. But recently I decided to try a dedicated primer again, and picked up the Wet n Wild Megalast Eyeshadow Primer. Spoiler: I’m glad I did.
I’d heard so much about the legendary Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner that I finally grabbed a bottle once my other toners ran out. Minimalist packaging, a simple formula — but is it worth the hype?
I honestly haven’t reached for a Max Factor lipstick in what feels like forever — but recently I decided it was time to revisit the brand. I picked up a shade from their classic Colour Elixir Lipstick line, and let me tell you, it reminded me why traditional bullets will never go out of style.
Spanish beauty isn’t something I’ve explored much yet, but little by little I’m discovering some amazing products. One such find is the La Chinata Hand & Nail Cream, enriched with natural extra virgin olive oil.
Who would’ve thought stick lipsticks would make such a comeback? For the past few years, I was all about liquid formulas, so trying the new generation of bullets was a pleasant surprise. One of my current daily favorites is the Zina The Color Lip Glow in shade 114.
Since my skin is naturally dry, I never skip hydrating serums in my routine. One of the best affordable options I’ve found is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Serum, packed with two types of hyaluronic acid, pro-vitamin B5, and probiotics.
I don’t have a huge bronzer collection — in fact, I only own one matte bronzer. But it happens to be my favorite and the most versatile one: the Physician’s Formula Matte Monoi Butter Bronzer. It works beautifully year-round, whether in winter or summer.
When I was on holiday in Croatia this summer, I couldn’t resist trying some local skincare. The brand that stood out everywhere in drugstores was Olival, and I ended up picking their Hydro Cica Face Mask. Spoiler: no regrets!
I love highlighters, and whenever a brand releases something new, I usually try to pick up that item from the collection. I enjoy both classic and unusual shades. For everyday use, I consider the budget-friendly Essence Choose Your Glow palette a real work.
Not too long ago, Balea released new shower gels with natural scents — lavender for the evening and citrus for the morning. I went for the lavender one, Be Relaxed and Calm Aroma Duschgel, and honestly, no regrets (though I might go back for the citrus too 😉).
Let’s talk about a hot summer launch from Catrice! To celebrate the sunny season, the brand released two lip glosses in instantly recognizable packaging, inspired by summer cocktails. Shade 01, Lemon Spritz, didn’t tempt me — but the orange Aperol-inspired one? I grabbed it right away 🍹✨
I’ve always loved fragrant body care — there’s something so uplifting about catching a whiff of your own scent while getting dressed. And the Frudia My Orchard Peach Body Essence has to be the longest-lasting body lotion I’ve ever tried.
