Scalp exfoliators have been a staple in my routine for several years now. I’ve tried everything from acid-based scrubs to salt and even enzymatic powders. My latest find — and now completely used-up favorite — is the TRESemmé Purify & Hydrate Scalp Scrub.
I love TRESemmé and was happy to discover this product. The jar contains 300 ml, and for weekly use, it lasted me over six months. The texture is a thick, bluish gel filled with exfoliating particles — likely a mix of polyethylene beads and coconut. The formula also contains clay and menthol, which gives a refreshing cooling sensation during massage.
The scrub smells pleasant, spreads easily, and is economical — I need just two scoops for my whole scalp: first from ear to crown, second from forehead to nape. It lathers slightly, doesn’t scratch the scalp, and rinses out cleanly without getting tangled in hair. It doesn’t dry out the scalp and even helps prolong that just-washed freshness.
I use this as the first step in my hair care routine, followed by regular shampoo. Afterward, my scalp feels thoroughly clean, breathable, and free from styling product buildup. Definitely a worthy scalp scrub — I would happily repurchase!
