Tom Ford Rose Exposed Collection – Lip Color in Shade “West Coast”

At the beginning of 2025, Tom Ford released a limited edition collection called Rose Exposed, which included a perfume, an eyeshadow palette, a lip oil, and a lipstick. I managed to get the lipstick in the shade West Coast, and I’m so excited to finally share it — it truly deserves attention.

Unlike the classic line, this lipstick comes in rose-chocolate cardboard packaging and a rose-red case. The design looks luxurious, though it does collect fingerprints easily. The lipstick weighs 3 g, yet the case feels quite heavy and metallic. The cap is magnetic, adding a touch of sophistication.

The lipstick bullet itself is stunning, embossed with the signature TF logo on the edge, and it smells like chocolate. The texture is smooth, slightly elastic, and semi-sheer but builds easily for more intensity. The shade is perfection — a cool-toned chocolate brown with no trace of orange. It gives a glossy, enveloping finish that looks effortlessly chic.

It can accentuate dry patches, so exfoliating the lips beforehand is a good idea. Over time, it melts slightly on the lips, creating an even softer and more beautiful finish. It doesn’t bleed beyond the lip line or settle into fine lines, and it can be worn comfortably without a lip liner. It doesn’t stain and is easily removed with micellar water. Of course, being a creamy lipstick, it’s not long-lasting — it transfers onto cups and glasses and stays on for about 3 hours.
