When I was on holiday in Croatia this summer, I couldn’t resist trying some local skincare. The brand that stood out everywhere in drugstores was Olival, and I ended up picking their Hydro Cica Face Mask. Spoiler: no regrets!
The mask comes in a sturdy glass jar (the lid is plastic though) with 50 ml of product. The carton box provides all the details — including English info — and the formula is organic, packed with natural ingredients.
The texture is so fun — it’s pink and pudding-like! The scent is soft and herbal, nothing overpowering. The brand suggests using it both as a wash-off and as an overnight mask, but I stuck to the classic way (not really into sleeping masks anymore).
Application is effortless: it spreads in a smooth, thin layer, feels weightless on the skin, isn’t sticky, and absorbs almost instantly. Still, a light layer remains on top, which you rinse off after 10–15 minutes. By then, your skin feels plumped, hydrated, and velvety, with that fresh, spa-like glow.
I really enjoyed this mask — using it once a week, I almost finished the jar in three months. Definitely a lovely find from Croatia! 🌸
