For the longest time, I skipped eyeshadow primers and just used concealer as a base. But recently I decided to try a dedicated primer again, and picked up the Wet n Wild Megalast Eyeshadow Primer. Spoiler: I’m glad I did.
It comes in a small box with all the necessary details listed. The tube itself is opaque plastic with a screw-on cap, containing 10 ml of product. The primer has almost no scent and a beige, gel-silicone texture that feels silky on application. You only need the tiniest drop — it spreads into a thin, even layer easily.
One note: if it touches concealer, it can cause pilling, so it’s best applied directly on clean lids.
Performance-wise, this primer does exactly what I want: it makes shadows pop, helps them blend more smoothly, and significantly extends wear time. On my hooded lids, shadows last up to 12 hours without creasing, compared to just 2–3 without primer. I also love that it’s completely invisible once applied, doesn’t irritate, and is super economical in use.
A great budget-friendly option if you want your eye looks to last!
