I apply body care after every shower — my skin is quite dry and constantly needs nourishment or hydration. That’s why body lotions are a staple in my routine, and lately I’ve been especially drawn to fragrance-free formulas in larger sizes. One of my recent finds is the Mixa Ceramide Protect Body Lotion.
Mixa is considered a pharmacy-style brand, although it’s widely available in supermarkets. I have the 400 ml version in a non-transparent plastic bottle with a convenient blue pump dispenser. The back of the packaging includes detailed information, ingredients, usage instructions, and plenty of claims.
The texture is similar to a light milk — soft, fluid, and very gentle. It has absolutely no scent, which I really appreciate. The lotion is non-sticky, spreads easily over the skin, and leaves no white streaks or residue. It absorbs quickly, so I can get dressed right after application.
In terms of performance, it does an excellent job. It hydrates and nourishes the skin well, immediately relieving dryness and making the skin feel soft and protected. It works both for daily use and for more intense dryness. I mainly use it in the evening. The consumption is average — not overly economical, but not wasteful either.
