The Rituals Sakura Body Scrub has officially become my favorite — everything about it is perfect, from the scent to the texture.
🌸 Texture & scent
I discovered this scrub in an advent calendar, so my version is the travel size (125 g) — enough for about 5–6 uses. The full size contains 300 g. The jar has a screw cap and a protective foil seal.
The scrub itself is thick, sugar-based, and richly infused with oils. The scent is heavenly — a soft, delicate cherry blossom fragrance that feels elegant and soothing. It doesn’t last long on the skin, but under hot water it fills the whole bathroom with its sweet aroma.
🛁 Application & results
Before using, it’s best to mix the sugar and oils together, then apply it onto damp skin. The texture spreads beautifully, doesn’t crumble off, and gently but effectively exfoliates. It leaves behind a thin, nourishing oily layer that makes the skin feel like silk.
After rinsing, the skin feels baby-soft, polished, and deeply moisturized. You can skip body lotion altogether — or use a Sakura-scented cream to enhance the experience.
This is pure spa-level relaxation at home. I’m totally in love — with both the scrub and the brand.
