No evening skincare routine is complete without a facial cleanser. If I used to prefer dense Korean foam cleansers, now I clearly gravitate towards gel textures. And my current favorite is Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser.
This is a brand I already know well and almost consider a favorite — especially when it comes to cleansing products. They really know how to do it right.
The cleanser has a liquid gel texture, lathers easily both with hands and with a cleansing brush or net. The scent is subtle, herbal, and very pleasant — nothing overpowering.
The packaging is convenient: a 100 ml soft plastic tube with a flip-top cap. The nozzle doesn’t clog, which is always a plus.
The formula contains green plum extract, known for its refreshing and balancing properties.
I mainly use this cleanser in the evening as the second step of my cleansing routine, after makeup removal. It cleans the skin thoroughly without drying it out. The gel foams well, doesn’t sting the eyes, feels gentle on the skin, and is very economical.
After cleansing, my skin feels smooth and comfortable — there’s no urgent need to immediately apply a cream or serum, which often happens with classic Korean foam cleansers. It doesn’t cleanse “to a squeaky clean” finish, but the skin truly feels fresh and able to breathe.
With daily use, one tube lasted me almost five months, even considering that I sometimes used it in the morning as well. So this is definitely a purchase I can fully recommend.
