Light, Playful & Affordable: Tesori d’Oriente Ikigai Fragrance Review

Like many people, I’ve always loved shower gels and fabric softeners from Tesori d'Oriente, but their range goes far beyond that — they also have bath products and even perfumes. When I discovered the fragrance Tesori d'Oriente Ikigai Eau de Cologne, I instantly fell in love. And at around €5 on a super sale, it was an easy purchase.

The bottle is quite unique — a large 100 ml metal (!) container that will last forever. The plastic cap is a bit tight, so it takes some effort to open, but the design makes up for it: soft pink tones with a vibe напоминающей японскую сакуру.

The scent belongs to the floral family, and here’s the pyramid:
Top notes: peach, bergamot, cherry blossom
Heart notes: rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, orange blossom
Base notes: patchouli, guaiac wood, vanilla, amber

The fragrance is very floral and quite sweet, but in a playful and uplifting way that makes you want to wear it all the time — especially in warmer weather. At first, I mainly notice juicy peach sweetness, which then transitions into a soft blend of jasmine and rose. The base is warm and сладкая, and personally I mostly pick up vanilla.

It doesn’t really behave like a typical eau de toilette or eau de parfum — I’d classify it more as a cologne. It fades quite quickly from both skin and clothes, leaving only a soft trace. But honestly, that just makes it perfect for generous application throughout the day.

I even like using it on clothes after washing — the subtle остаточный аромат feels cozy and pleasant. Overall, it’s a fun, easygoing everyday fragrance that doesn’t overwhelm, doesn’t project heavily, but definitely lifts the mood.
