Physician’s Formula has a successful makeup line based on natural oils. I’ve owned the bronzer from this series for a long time, and now the Murumuru Butter Blush in the shade Vintage Rouge has joined it.
The compact is brand-signature — small, rounded, with a botanical pattern, and contains 5.5 g of product. My version is made in China, although the brand used to manufacture in Italy.
Like the bronzer, the packaging is double-layered: blush on top, mirror and mini applicator underneath. Honestly, this format isn’t very convenient — to use the mirror, you constantly have to open the second compartment. The mirror itself is fine, but the “brush” is a complete misunderstanding. It’s a bright silicone sponge that’s impossible to pick up or blend product with, so it went straight to the trash.
The blush texture really feels buttery: soft, smooth, silky, with a very light and pleasant scent. The surface is decorated with a relief pattern resembling sand waves.
The shade Vintage Rouge is a natural peachy-rose — very wearable and universal. No shimmer or glitter, but with a soft satin finish — not flat matte, but “alive.”
They pick up and blend effortlessly, and even with fluffy brushes there’s slight kickback. The pigmentation is moderate, making it easy to control and build without patchiness or overload. They don’t emphasize skin texture.
Overall, these are excellent everyday blushes: they give a fresh, neat flush and look maximal natural.
