The brand Balea has a really solid range of affordable body and face care, and I’ve been slowly testing their face masks — both sheet and rinse-off versions.
The first one is the Hyaluron Mask (2 × 8 ml sachets). Each sachet is technically for one use, but in reality I get two applications out of it, which already makes it quite economical. The formula is very simple, and interestingly, alcohol is listed quite high in the ingredients — something I usually don’t love for dry skin, but in this case it surprisingly didn’t cause any issues.
The texture is like a light jelly, slightly blue, and it has a fresh cucumber-like scent that feels clean and pleasant. It spreads evenly, gives a light cooling effect, and almost fully absorbs within 10–15 minutes, leaving only a thin layer that washes off easily with warm water.
The result is fresh, soft, and smooth skin that feels nice to the touch. However, the effect is quite short-lived — by the next morning my skin is back to its usual state. So this is more of a quick boost rather than a long-term treatment, but still nice for travel or an occasional refresh.
The second product is the 3-in-1 Cleansing, Scrub & Mask in the updated packaging, which now looks more minimal and almost “pharmacy-style.” The tube contains 150 ml, and the only downside for me is the lid — it doesn’t close very securely and feels slightly loose.
The mask itself is a light pink clay texture with a subtle herbal scent. When applied, you can feel fine exfoliating particles, and there’s even a slight warming sensation on the skin. I usually apply it in the shower, let it sit for a bit, then massage and rinse it off.
After use, my skin feels very clean, fresh, and noticeably smoother without being overly dry or tight — which is important for my dry skin type. Sometimes I layer another mask afterward, but most of the time this one alone is enough. A simple, budget-friendly product that actually performs well.
