I’m a big fan of Catrice — in my opinion, it’s one of the best brands in the mass market segment. Since I buy a lot of their products, I occasionally receive gifts with purchase. Recently, after buying several items, I received the Endless Pearls Beautifying Primer as a bonus. Even though it’s quite an old limited edition, I was still very happy to try it.
The packaging is beautiful: a transparent 30 ml plastic bottle filled with pearl-like beads. It looks incredibly attractive and eye-catching. The bottle also has a convenient pump that dispenses the perfect amount of product for the whole face with one full press.
The primer itself is transparent and packed with shimmering particles. The texture is semi-gel and spreads easily across the skin. The glow is quite noticeable and very pretty. When worn under foundation, however, it looks much more natural — almost like a subtle finishing powder effect. The final result also depends on the foundation you use: lighter fluids allow the glow to shine through more clearly.
I tend to reach for this primer on days when my skin feels slightly dry. It helps foundation apply more smoothly and prevents it from settling into fine lines or emphasizing dryness. It doesn’t significantly affect the longevity of makeup, but it doesn’t shorten it either. Overall, a lovely and visually charming primer.
