The last time I used face masks from Yves Rocher was several years ago — I especially loved their once very popular hydrating mask. A lot has changed since then, and the brand has clearly evolved. This time, my attention was caught by the Bio Calendula Repairing Face Mask with a rich texture.
The tube contains 30 g of product and features a bright, botanical design that looks fresh and cheerful. The cap is neat and screw-on, similar to L’Occitane hand creams. There was no protective seal, which initially raised a question, but I generally trust the brand.
The mask has a creamy texture and a pleasant yellow shade, with a light calendula scent. It applies effortlessly, feels weightless on the skin, and doesn’t fully absorb. If left on a little longer, it slightly dries on the surface and the color becomes more intense. It rinses off easily, leaving a soft slip under the fingers.
The result is instantly noticeable: the skin feels incredibly smooth, velvety, and calm. Redness and irritation are visibly reduced, and the skin becomes so soft and comfortable that applying a cream afterward almost feels unnecessary.
The only downside is the price, but sales and discounts easily make up for it. Overall, this mask turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.
