Testing Ariana Grande’s Lovenotes Angels Kiss — My Honest Take

I’ve tried Ariana Grande’s perfumes before but never bought one — they always felt too juvenile and sweet for my taste. However, in the advent calendar, I found a mini version of Lovenotes Angels Kiss and decided to give it a proper try.

This is an eau de toilette, available in full sizes of 30 or 125 ml. I have the travel-size 7.5 ml bottle, which mirrors the full-sized design. The bottle itself is unique — triangular with rounded edges, but it doesn’t have a spray nozzle.

The fragrance pyramid features rose water, raspberry, coconut, musk, rose, amber, wood, and vanilla.

For me, it’s an extremely simple and unremarkable scent that doesn’t evoke any excitement. The rose is noticeable at first but disappears quickly, leaving behind a musk note I don’t enjoy. I couldn’t detect any raspberry, coconut, amber, or vanilla, and the wood — which should have given it some depth — is completely absent. It’s essentially just rose and musk.

The scent also fades fast — within a couple of hours, only a faint trace remains. I was disappointed and don’t see myself exploring Ariana Grande’s fragrances further.
