Last spring, when I first saw the promo of the Wet’n’Wild multichrome collection, I immediately knew I had to buy something. I ended up getting three out of four eyeliners — and I don’t regret it.
The packaging of the multichrome liners is eye-catching: bright cases with a holographic finish. They are made in China, each pencil contains 0.2 g of product. The brand claims 18-hour wear and water resistance.
All three liners are very soft and glide easily onto the skin. The tip is quite thin, which makes application precise but also means there’s a risk of breakage — I managed to snap the first one while doing swatches (thankfully, I hadn’t twisted out too much). They set within about 30 seconds and, once dry, are extremely hard to remove — only oil-based or cleansing balms work, and even then with some effort.
If layered during the day, they may slightly crack and create a bit of tightness on the eyelid, but nothing critical. They wear beautifully all day: no transfer, no fading, no glitter fallout. They look stunning both in sunlight and in regular indoor lighting.
Shades:
-
Electric Prism — a light blue shade with yellowish-pink shimmer
-
Superstar Suit — greenish-brown with a blue shift
-
Planet Disco — a classic multichrome beetle shade shifting from brown to pink, gold, and green
The color shifts are truly magical. These liners work perfectly both for accenting the lower lash line and for graphic eyeliner looks.
I mostly wear them as winged liners or to highlight the lower lash line. They’re easy to use, highly effective, and deliver that bold multichrome sparkle effortlessly. I’m very happy with them.
