Chanel Les 4 Ombres Boutons Mademoiselle

I used to consider myself a fan of Chanel, but over time their products started to feel somewhat bland—even the limited editions stopped catching my eye. Finally, though, something sparked my interest! I picked up a limited-edition quad palette in pink-coffee tones. There are four palettes in the collection, each with a unique design inspired by the house’s symbols and buttons.

As always, the packaging is beyond praise.

The signature velvet pouch is included, though slightly updated this time—with embossing that mirrors the palette’s design.

Inside you get four shades, a total of 2 g of product, along with a white sponge applicator and a small brush.

The shades are beautiful and perfectly wearable for everyday looks, even for beginners—that’s exactly why I love luxury shadows. You can apply them almost blindly and still look polished. Of course, don’t expect the ultra-bright payoff you’d get from pro or indie brands.

  • Matte clover – a cool-toned pink, picks up best with the included sponge

  • Peachy Chanel No. 5 bottle – shimmery

  • Coffee “5” – satin finish, very blendable but prone to fallout

  • Pearlescent star with weave pattern – luminous topper

The shadows are easy to use, buildable, and have medium pigmentation. They perform best over an eyeshadow base; on concealer they may crease. I applied the star shade with a damp setting spray, and it looked gorgeous and long-lasting!

Overall, the palette is both practical and a bit special—not boring at all. What I love most is the design, and it might even become a collector’s piece for me.

Price: €88 (I was honestly shocked at Chanel’s prices).
