Gliss Kur Hair Wonder

I have long hair, and to keep it looking decent I really have to put in the effort. My routine involves about 10 different products, and one of them is always a hair-loss prevention serum. I use them in courses, trying different brands and price ranges—but not all of them turn out great. Today’s review is about a product that disappointed me: Gliss Kur Hair Wonder Scalp & Root Activator.

The serum is affordable and enriched with caffeine and echinacea extract. What worried me, though, was the 23% denatured alcohol in the formula—ChatGPT even warned me that this amount could potentially dry out both hair and scalp. Luckily, I didn’t notice any dryness myself.

The packaging is nice—purple soft plastic with a very fine applicator tip. The bottle contains 100 ml. Inside, it’s basically a watery liquid with Gliss Kur’s signature scent—it’s pleasant and subtle, and the fragrance lingers until the next wash.

I applied the serum along my partings after each wash and massaged it in. It’s non-sticky, absorbs quickly, doesn’t cause any unpleasant sensations, and doesn’t warm the scalp. But that’s it—after using it for more than a month, I saw no results whatsoever. Not a single extra hair grew. It simply doesn’t work. I almost finished the bottle, but I won’t repurchase.

On the other hand, I really enjoyed the Express Repair Conditioner Leave-in Spray.

The packaging is pleasant and typical for the brand: 200 ml in a transparent spray bottle. It’s a two-phase formula, so you need to shake it before use. The scent is lovely—powdery-floral—and lasts quite a while without clashing with perfume.

The spray mist is fine and even, so it doesn’t soak the hair, but you can instantly feel the added nourishment. It smooths and hydrates the ends right away, taming frizz and static. I usually apply it in the morning on dry hair, though the brand also recommends it as a heat protectant.

The effect is excellent—my hair feels soft, smooth, nourished, and well-groomed. The results last until the next use—basically a full day =) And it’s very economical in use!
