Palmolive Shower Gels — budget-friendly aromatherapy at home

Recently, Palmolive has become one of my favorite shower brands. Their products are affordable, smell amazing, and actually feel приятные на коже. I tried two gels from the brand, and both left a good impression — though with some nuances.

The first one is Sparkling Bloom Enchanted Orchid & Warm Vanilla Scent. It belongs to a special line with natural essential oils, and I picked it over the rose version because the scent felt more interesting. The bottle is quite large (500 ml), though there’s also a smaller version. The packaging isn’t perfect — you can’t see how much product is left, and the cap can be annoyingly hard to open.

The gel itself is a beautiful pink color, slightly jelly-like, with a floral-powdery orchid scent. I don’t really detect vanilla — maybe it just adds a soft warmth. It lathers really well, creating a rich, fluffy foam that fills the whole bathroom with fragrance. The only strange thing is occasional tiny lumps in the texture — they don’t affect the experience, but still look odd. The scent doesn’t stay long on the skin, but the shower itself feels like a treat.

The second one is Thermal Spa Silky Oil with Coconut Oil and Lavender, which can also be used as a bubble bath. The bottle is huge (650 ml), and the packaging is much more practical — transparent with a convenient flip cap.

This gel smells like lavender with a hint of rose — I don’t really notice coconut here either. But once it hits warm water, the scent truly shines, turning your shower into a mini spa experience. It creates a thick, creamy foam, cleanses gently without drying the skin, and leaves a light lingering scent for a few minutes after.

Overall, both are great budget-friendly options, especially if you enjoy rich scents in the shower. The second one slightly wins for me — more relaxing and more “SPA-like”.
