Not long ago, Sheglam products became available in drugstores across Europe. Now you can finally swatch everything in person instead of relying only on online reviews. When I spotted the stand in a nearby store, I tested quite a few products and ended up choosing the Crystal Jelly Glaze Stick in the shade Starlit Silver.
The eyeshadow comes in a plastic stick with a beautiful gradient design and was additionally packaged in a cardboard box. It contains 3 g of product. Under the cap, there’s a protective plastic insert to prevent the formula from drying out.
This isn’t my first eyeshadow stick in this format, and overall Sheglam is quite similar: it has a bouncy texture and gives a cooling sensation upon application. What really sets it apart is the amount of shimmer — there’s an incredible number of sparkles, which creates a dense, bright finish rather than a sheer effect.
The shade Starlit Silver is a pure silver with a slightly translucent grey base. The shimmer particles are fine and apply smoothly and evenly. Just a couple of swipes are enough for a complete eye look. The edges don’t blend very easily, so it’s best to soften them quickly with your finger or leave them sharp for a more graphic effect.
The longevity is impressive even on bare eyelids — mine lasted from 8 AM to 8 PM, surviving light rain and even tears without creasing. For removal, an oil cleanser works best, as micellar water struggles with the glitter. I’m extremely happy with this product — it might just be my new favorite.
