Alfaparf Milano Keratin Therapy Lisse Design The Oil — Great Results, But One Strange Ingredient 🤔

After every hair wash, I always apply either an oil or a leave-in serum to my ends — it keeps them soft, shiny, and healthy-looking. I’ve tried many different oils, and while their effects are often similar, the formulas can differ dramatically. Today, let’s take a closer look at Alfaparf Milano Keratin Therapy Lisse Design The Oil — and see what makes it stand out.

The product comes in a cardboard box filled with detailed information, and the first thing that caught my eye was the ingredient list — specifically, alcohol in second place. That’s quite unusual for something meant to nourish and repair, since alcohol is known to dry out tissues. And yes — when applied, the alcohol scent hits immediately. Luckily, it evaporates fast, but I was still surprised to see it there at all.

Otherwise, it’s a nice product: the glass bottle feels weighty and premium, contains 50 ml, and lasts forever. Interestingly, this is my second oil from Alfaparf, and every time I’m puzzled — the neck of the bottle is sealed, so you can’t open it to get every last drop out!

The oil itself is amber-colored and, once the alcohol note fades, smells slightly nutty. It applies easily — I usually use 2–3 pumps. The texture is semi-dry, meaning it doesn’t leave any greasy residue or film. My hair ends instantly feel softer, smoother, and look more polished.

I like the result — but I do worry that if I used only this oil, my ends might eventually dry out due to the alcohol content. For now, I rotate it with other leave-ins, and that balance works perfectly.

💶 Price: varies by region (~€15–20 for 50 ml)
Rating: 4 / 5 (works beautifully, but alcohol is a questionable choice)
