Catrice never ceases to amaze me with their affordable yet high-quality products. And the most stunning duochrome eyeshadows in their lineup are, without a doubt, from the Space Glam Chrome collection. There are six shades in total, and honestly, I’d buy them all — but I decided to start with 030 Galaxy Lights.
The eyeshadow comes in a simple 1 g plastic compact. The packaging is minimal but surprisingly sturdy — the lid still clicks shut perfectly even after more than a year of use.
The texture is incredibly soft and pliable, almost “bouncy” — it slightly sinks under your finger when you pick it up, so I recommend handling it gently.
The shade shifts beautifully from green to golden, depending on the light. It gives a smooth metallic glow, though when applied very thinly, you can see some individual sparkles. Most often, though, it’s best applied generously for that full duochrome payoff — and it looks amazing.
Fallout is minimal, and the color applies evenly. On bare lids, it lasts around 2–3 hours before creasing; with concealer, about 4 hours; with eyeshadow base, 5 hours; and with a fixing spray, up to 6 hours. Unfortunately, on my deep-set eyes, it doesn’t last longer — likely due to the soft, creamy formula.
💫 Verdict: A gorgeous shade with that mesmerizing color shift. I wish it were longer-lasting, but the texture explains it.
