Catrice Diamond Haze Jelly Highlighter Stick — Sparkle I Couldn’t Resist

I got a little tired of Catrice and Essence releases and didn’t buy anything from them for a whole month. But then another shimmery product dropped — and I simply couldn’t resist. I’m definitely a magpie when it comes to sparkle. Especially when the promises include a cooling effect, diamond-like shimmer, and easy application. So here it is — my latest impulse buy: Catrice Diamond Haze Jelly Highlighter Stick 010 Born to Sparkle.

The packaging is very cute and instantly reminds you of its obvious inspiration. It’s made of plastic, and the cap has a slightly rough texture due to the glitter. The stick contains 7.5 g of product. The cap twists half a turn before coming off completely.

On the back, all the key claims are listed: cooling effect, no silicones, no oils, and no fragrance. The product is vegan and made in China. There’s also a plastic inner stopper to prevent the jelly highlighter from drying out.

Visually, it’s absolutely stunning: juicy, glossy, and packed with individual shimmer particles that shift between gold, pink, and lilac tones.

The stick really does cool the skin upon application. It applies in a thin layer but can easily be built up if desired. It doesn’t disturb foundation, doesn’t look greasy, and feels very comfortable on the skin.

In swatches, you can notice a slightly grey base, but on my face I don’t see it at all. I especially enjoy applying it directly from the stick — it’s quick, convenient, and keeps hands clean. One layer looks delicate; two layers bring out a more noticeable pinkish glow.

The highlighter doesn’t emphasize skin texture and sets well. You can remove it with some effort, but it won’t smudge from hats or hair. Over time it slightly loses intensity, but nothing dramatic. It removes easily with any micellar water.

Overall, I really like this highlighter. It’s non-greasy, non-sticky, sets nicely, and looks genuinely pretty. The sparkle is noticeable but not over-the-top. A very successful release — now I’m curious whether more shades will follow.
