Luxury in every detail — that’s how I would describe the Dior Forever line. For the fall-winter season, I chose the Dior Forever Concealer and I’m ready to share my impressions.
The packaging is true to the brand’s style — a sturdy navy cardboard box with the brand’s signature print, and a very heavy glass bottle with a volume of 11 ml.
Inside, there’s a surprisingly large applicator, which turns out to be very convenient for applying the concealer under the eyes.
The concealer has a slightly gel-like, yet creamy consistency, a pleasant luxurious scent that lingers for a few minutes after application, and it sets quickly. This means you need to apply it under one eye and blend it immediately; otherwise, it will set and won’t spread evenly.
My shade, 1N Neutral, matched me perfectly. It’s not the lightest shade in the line (there’s also 0), but it provides sufficient coverage. It doesn’t leave a white cast, applies smoothly, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. It blends easily and has a powdery finish. You don’t need to set it with powder — it’s matte and stays in place all day on my dry skin. Sometimes I lightly go over it with leftover powder after finishing my makeup, which also works well; it doesn’t disturb the coverage and keeps everything intact.
Overall, I consider this concealer a worthy representative of its category. It provides the coverage I need, lasts all day, and leaves the under-eye area smooth and even.
