When everyone around is raving about Korean lip care, it’s hard not to get curious — and I couldn’t resist trying the Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm.
The packaging is delightful: a sleek gradient tube with a clicking cap that feels satisfyingly secure. Inside, you get 3.5 g of product. The stick glides up easily, but don’t twist it too far — just a millimeter or so! Otherwise, it’s almost impossible to roll back down without a mess.
The balm has a sweet candy scent and a gel-like, slightly silicone texture with a gorgeous shine. My shade, 03, is a peachy-coral gloss that enhances the natural lip tone beautifully. You can apply it sheer for a subtle glow, or layer it up for more color — just make sure to use a brush when building layers to ensure even coverage.
A word of advice: don’t press too hard while applying, because the balm melts quickly from body heat and can smear. Applied gently, it provides both nourishment and color. It coats the lips with a smooth, comforting layer and gives an amazing glassy shine.
Of course, the longevity is minimal — it fades after a couple of hours but leaves behind a soft tint and a very neat finish. It doesn’t settle into lines or bleed beyond the contour, even without a lip liner. A truly lovely product for everyday wear!
